3 -4 Day Safaris From the Coast
You’ve been to the ocean, now want to dip your toe into some big-game action? These short tours are a great introduction to the safari life. Choose from the legendary Tsavo East and Tsavo West Parks, with their famous lions, red-dust elephants, and unexpected tropical green springs, alive with crocodiles and hippos.
Or, picture yourself journeying from the golden coast to snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro overlooking Amboseli Park, where you cannot miss the many elephant families marching about.
5-9 Day Experiences
If you have more time to seek adventure, then an entire horizon of safari experiences opens up for you. More time means more choices and more immersive safaris – lots of game drives to really know the parks and wildlife.
Add to the above parks of Tsavo and Amboseli visits to the Rift Valley lake parks of Nakuru and Naivasha. Nakuru charms all with its acacia forests, waterfalls, rhino sanctuary, and sometimes visits from brightly pink-flocked flamingoes.
You’ll enjoy Lake Naivasha’s exotic displays of pelicans and cormorants as you take a sailing safari across the lake, passing hippos and antelope on the shore.
Now imagine, leaving the sun-dappled shores of your resort for the vast savannahs of the great Masai Mara. The wildlife here is dense, especially the big cats like lion, leopard, and cheetah.
