3 DAY FROM DIANI BEACH – FLY & DRIVE
SOARING SAFARI GROUP TOUR
Starting from/returning to your Diani Beach or other coastal resort.
We’ll bring you to Mombasa airport for the quick flight to the Masai Mara.
And later fly you back to the coast.
Tour Departs Every Tuesday and Friday
Here’s the perfect addition to Kenya’s best beach – Kenya’s best park. By air! We’ll fly you from Diani Beach to Nairobi and then by land to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Save travel time and increase your safari time with this streamlined journey for big game, big cats, and big adventure.
The Masai Mara is the richest ecosystem in the region, alive with over 95 types of wildlife, including thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelle herding through this vast open savannah.
On this specially designed Africa safari, you’ll enjoy Kenya’s immense rolling landscapes from above on the one-hour flight from the coast to Nairobi. There, you’ll meet your guide and join the group tour.
You’ll have lots of time for game drives throughout the park, then head back to Nairobi and fly to Mombasa and Diani Beach. It’s a perfect little safari at a great value.
What’s Cool About the Masai Mara?
Well just about everything – great prides of lions, large numbers of cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes – all set on golden savannahs punctuated with picture-postcard acacia trees. Imagine a safari and you’ll picture the Masai Mara.
This is the home of the Great Migration – from July through October, you’ll witness a massive influx of wildebeest and zebra engulfing the park on their annual search for water and taller grasses.
Since this is an air safari, add to your flying time: take an optional early morning hot air balloon over the expanse below as the fields come alive with light and the movement of the wildlife below. Simply stunning.
Fast & Flexible
At AKS you write the rules. Travel and explore at your own pace in you own way. We’re fast, flexible, and always ready to respond to your requests. Book in advance or even the day before. We’ll get you out on safari – pronto!
Depending on your choice of accommodation you can enjoy extras like sundowners, babysitting, swimming pool, traditional Maasai dances around the boma, special diets, outdoor dinning, views of zebra, wildebeests, and elephants.
Stay Connected or Not. Your Choice.
We realize you’re on safari to get away from the usual. Still, there are times you may want to go online… perhaps to share your photos and adventures with friends. Our safari vehicles connect with Wi-Fi, about 75% of the time so you can usually connect when you want.

You’ll safari in style out to the parks in a 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep – the best way to experience Africa with its higher seating for better views and its rugged all-wheel drive.
We give you more at AKS – customization, flexibility, and lots of choices. Your safari includes park entrance fees, game drives, accommodations, meals, airfare, and transfer to Diani and other resort beaches.

Full Day at the Masai Mara
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
We’ll be up early to get this safari started. Pile into the 4 x 4 to run over the hills and through the bush tracking for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, gazelle, eland, topi, and the vast birdlife populating the park.
We’ll head down to the Mara River, site of the Migration crossing. Here you’ll witness an invasion of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more wildlife streaming in from the Serengeti. Waiting for them in the river are crocodiles and then on the welcoming bank, all kinds of big cats and other predators.
It can be a scene of great expression – all the drama of the natural world playing out before you.
Expand your safari with several optional outings – visit a nearby Maasai village and get to meet these local people, learn about their culture, and perhaps pick up some of their beaded handiwork.
For more airborne drama, sign up for the optional pre-dawn hot air balloon safari over the park. As the rising sun lights up the fields below, you’ll see the park come alive with the new day, the wildlife emerging over the fields and hills. It’s an unforgettable moment.
We’ll spend our second safari night at your Mara accommodation.
