Conservation you can see, up close
Ol Pejeta protects East Africa's largest population of black rhinos and is the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees in a natural setting, at the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
Beyond the headline species, the reserve holds the full Big Five plus Grevy's zebra, bat-eared fox, reticulated giraffe and white-tailed mongoose - a genuinely varied wildlife list for a short trip.

Nairobi → Ol Pejeta Wildlife Sanctuary
7:30am pickup, heading through Laikipia County past coffee, tea and pineapple plantations - with Mount Kenya visible along the way and a stop to mark crossing the equator into the northern hemisphere.
On arrival, we track lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals and rare African wild dogs, plus hippos, monkeys, baboons, impalas, gazelles, zebras and hartebeests - and visit the endangered black rhinos in their protected sanctuary. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only natural chimp home in Kenya, is a highlight of the day.

An early pre-breakfast game drive under the golden morning light, followed by breakfast and further tracking through the morning.
Lunch and a final game drive close out the reserve before the return journey - back in Nairobi by early evening, with drop-off at your hotel, residence or the airport.
