Group safaris from the coast - beach to bush in hours
Join fellow travellers on a fixed-departure safari from Diani Beach or Mombasa to Tsavo East - lions, elephants and open savannah, close to your resort.
Wildlife closer than you think
It's easy to forget, mid-beach holiday, that lion and elephant country is just a few hours away. Our group tours collect you from your Diani or Mombasa resort and put you in the savannah the same day.
Well suited to first-time safari-goers - we've been introducing coast travellers to Kenya's wildlife for over 20 years.

Sharing a vehicle with other guests brings the cost down - the equipment and guiding stay the same as a private tour.
Tsavo East - lions and red-dust elephants
Our coast group safaris focus on Tsavo East, one of Kenya's largest parks, known for its resident lion population and elephants stained red by the park's iron-rich soil.
Choose a one-day trip and be back at your resort by evening, or a two-day safari with an overnight stay for a fuller game-drive experience.

Which days do group safaris depart from Diani and Mombasa?
Departures run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Book ahead to secure your preferred date, especially in peak beach season.
Which park will I visit?
Tsavo East National Park - known for large resident lion prides and elephant herds stained red by the park's laterite soil. It's the closest major park to the south coast.
Will I get a window seat?
Yes - every guest is guaranteed an individual window seat in our pop-top roof 4x4s, the same standard as our Nairobi group departures.
Can I do a safari as a day trip from Diani?
Yes - our Tsavo East Full Day Group Safari collects you from your resort and returns you the same evening. For a fuller experience, the 2-day option adds an overnight stay in the park.
What's included in the price?
Transport in a 4x4 with driver-guide, park entry fees, and - on the 2-day option - accommodation. WiFi, chilled water and binoculars are provided on board both tours.
Is this a good option for first-time safari-goers?
Yes - group safaris from the coast are a popular, low-commitment introduction to Kenya's wildlife for guests who are primarily on a beach holiday.
