Tsavo East and Tsavo West together form Kenya's largest protected area - red-dust "theatre of the wild" elephants, the Mzima Springs and Lugard Falls among the highlights. Because Tsavo sits roughly midway between Nairobi and the coast, it can be flown into from either direction.
