Are flights included in the package?
Yes - internal flights between the airstrip nearest Nairobi and your safari destination are included in every fly-in package price shown, unless noted otherwise.
What do the green, amber and red season buttons mean?
They show each camp's own rate seasons from the supplier price sheets: green = low season, amber = shoulder season and red = high season. Pick an arrival date and every camp shows the rate for that exact date.
Are the prices in US dollars, and what do they include?
Yes - US$ per person sharing a twin/double room, for a flying package (flights plus stay) as listed on our supplier price sheets. Single travellers pay the single room supplement (SRS). Exact inclusions, flight times and availability are confirmed when you enquire.
Where do I depart from in Nairobi?
Most safari flights depart from Wilson Airport, Nairobi's dedicated hub for domestic and safari-charter flights, separate from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Can I fly in from Diani Beach instead of Nairobi?
Yes - the Masai Mara fly-in safari from Diani Beach departs directly from Diani Airport, about two hours each way, with resort pickup and drop-off included.
Which airstrip serves my lodge?
Every property is paired with a specific airstrip - check the airstrip listed on your chosen lodge's package, or see the Flight Schedules & Airstrips page.
Are safari flights shared?
Most scheduled safari flights are shared with other passengers travelling to the same or nearby airstrips, similar to a scheduled domestic flight.
Can I choose a private safari vehicle?
Yes - every package can be upgraded from a shared to a private vehicle and guide on its own destination page.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my lodge?
Yes - each destination page groups lodges into Economy/Comfort/Luxury/Superior Luxury tiers, so you can move up or down while keeping the same location and itinerary.
Can I combine destinations?
Yes - flying makes multi-destination itineraries practical. Use the Multi-Destination Builder to combine parks and see an indicative combined price.
