Northern Kenya isn't one park - it's a patchwork of reserves and private conservancies (Samburu, Lewa, Borana, Ol Pejeta/Sweetwaters, Sosian and the wider Laikipia plateau), each with its own character and, importantly, its own airstrip. Flying is what makes this region practical to visit at all - the road journey from Nairobi runs 4-6 hours depending on the area.
Because the properties below sit in different conservancies, not every lodge is served by the same airstrip - always check the airstrip listed on the specific property you're booking.
