Our Story

A Kenyan company, built for travellers who want it done right

Africa Kenya Safaris is a Nairobi-based tour operator offering tailor-made Kenya safaris, Tanzania safaris, and combined Kenya–Tanzania itineraries, alongside Zanzibar and coastal beach extensions and Mount Kenya / Kilimanjaro climbing expeditions.

Every itinerary is built around the traveller, not a fixed template. Our Travel Advisors work with you to choose the parks, pace, accommodation style and budget that suit you, then hand you over to one of our trusted driver-guides for the journey itself.

We maintain three points of contact across Kenya — our Head Office team, an airport desk at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), and a coastal office in Diani — so help is always close at hand, wherever your safari begins or ends.

Every Africa Kenya Safaris driver-guide was born and raised in Kenya, with years of hands-on experience tracking wildlife across the Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo, Samburu and the Lewa Conservancy.

Beyond navigation and game spotting, our guides are trained in vehicle safety, first aid, and the natural history of the parks they work in — so every game drive becomes a running conversation about the ecosystem you're moving through, not just a checklist of sightings.

We believe travel should leave the places we visit better off, not worse. That means working with conservancies and lodges that reinvest in habitat protection, choosing community-run camps where possible, and briefing guests on how to minimise their footprint in sensitive areas.

On request, we can build tree-planting activities, school visits and community project time into your itinerary — alongside partnerships with local and international conservation organisations working to protect Kenya's wildlife and habitats.

There is only one Africa, and it is our home — we plan every safari with that in mind.
