Safari Package Questions
Why does the price change with the number of travellers?
Our safari packages are priced per person by group size: the vehicle and guide cost is shared, so each person pays less as the group grows (from 1 up to 6 travellers). Pick your group size on any safari and the price updates. For 7 or more, send an enquiry and we quote the group individually.
What do the green, amber and red season buttons mean?
Green = low season, amber = shoulder season and red = peak season. Choose a season, or pick your travel dates (from – to) and the page shows safaris of that length with the rate for your arrival day. Season dates follow our standard calendar and are confirmed when you enquire.
What is the single room supplement (SRS)?
It is the extra amount per person if you want a room to yourself. The "1 traveller" rate is the solo-traveller price; the SRS applies when two or more people travelling together each want a single room.
Are prices in US dollars, and what do they include?
Yes - US$ per person, taken from our rates. Exact inclusions, vehicle type, park fees and availability are confirmed when you enquire.
Can I start or finish at the coast?
Yes - there are safaris from Nairobi to Diani / Mombasa, from Diani / Mombasa to Nairobi, and return safaris from the coast. Use the departure filter on the packages page.
Can I upgrade the lodges or change the route?
Yes - each package is quoted at the standard camp level in our rates. Tell us in the enquiry what you would like to change (lodge level, extra nights, a different park) and we will send a revised quote.
Do you do Kenya and Tanzania together?
