For three days you'll adventure through this popular park, soaking up its iconic vistas and rich variety of wildlife - four of Africa's Big Five roam its plains, and the vibrant marshes host buffalo, hippo and a colorful array of waterfowl.

Nairobi → Amboseli National Park
7:30am pickup for the easy road trip down the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway, passing homesteads and fields with Maasai herders in their bright shuka wraps.
Mt. Kilimanjaro's iconic peak rises in the distance, our beacon to Amboseli - arriving in the late morning for lunch at your lodge, then out on the first of many game drives, tracking elephant families, lion, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, buffalo and leopard beneath the mountain's 19,000ft backdrop.

Full Day at Amboseli
An early morning game drive to catch the first light breaking upon the plains and Mt. Kilimanjaro, then breakfast enjoying the park's rich ambiance.
More wildlife adventures follow - besides the larger game, look for hyena, fox, jackal, monkey and baboon. Optional Maasai village visit available this afternoon.

Amboseli National Park → Nairobi
An early game drive to track any wildlife you've missed, perhaps with a stop at Observation Hill for inspiring views over the park's marshes and their rich birdlife - pelican, kingfisher, egret and heron.
Breakfast at your lodge, a final game drive as you exit the park, then the easy drive back to Nairobi, arriving by late afternoon.

Nairobi airport/hotel pickup and drop-off transfers, transport in a customized 4x4 pop-up-top Land Cruiser jeep, an experienced English-speaking driver-guide, your choice of economy/comfort/luxury lodges or tented camps, park entrance fees, all meals on safari, bottled drinking water, government taxes, and Flying Doctors emergency evacuation cover.
