This route packs a sailing safari, a walking safari, and rhino and flamingo country into a single opening day, before settling into two full days of game drives in Kenya's most famous reserve.
Lake Naivasha brings hippos and birdlife by boat, Crescent Island lets you walk among grazing giraffe and zebra, and Lake Nakuru adds black and white rhino, then it's on to the Masai Mara for the Big Five and, in season, the Great Migration.

7:00am pickup, then the scenic drive along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. At Lake Naivasha, a sailing safari past hippos, pelicans and cormorants.
Next, a guided walking tour of Crescent Island's private reserve among grazing zebra, buffalo, giraffe and gazelle. Then on to Lake Nakuru - acacia forest, waterfalls and rocky escarpments, with black rhino, Rothschild's giraffe and sometimes lion or cheetah.

Full Day at Masai Mara Reserve
An early start for a full day of game drives - during the Great Migration season (June-October) an endless flow of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle crosses the Mara River.
A picnic lunch at the river, scene of the crossing and home to hippo and crocodile. Optional Maasai village visit and sunrise hot air balloon safari available today.
