Amboseli's free-ranging elephants sit beneath Mt. Kilimanjaro; Lake Naivasha offers an easy sailing safari past hippos; Lake Nakuru adds rhino, leopard and flamingo-dappled shores; and the Masai Mara - the richest ecosystem in the region - closes the trip with unlimited game drives.

Nairobi → Amboseli National Park
Early pickup from your hotel, residence or Nairobi airport, then onto the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. Towering Mt. Kilimanjaro rises in the distance, our beacon to the park.
Lunch and a refresh at our accommodation, then our first game drive - under the gaze of the mighty mountain, tracking for elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, giraffe and zebra. Toward evening the cloud cover near the summit may clear, revealing its snowy peak.

Amboseli → Lake Naivasha
A sunrise game drive to soak up the park's early light, then breakfast and more tracking for lion, cheetah, hyena, fox, baboon and elephant, with a stop at Observation Hill for sweeping views over the marshlands and birdlife.
Then it's the road to Lake Naivasha through the Great Rift Valley, arriving in time for lunch. Optional bicycle safari at nearby Hell's Gate National Park pedals past grazing zebra, buffalo, antelope and giraffe through colorful canyons and imposing cliffs.

A sailing safari across Lake Naivasha, gliding past hippos and shoreline wildlife, then a guided walking safari at neighboring Crescent Island Game Sanctuary among waterbuck, zebra and gazelle.
A short drive brings us to Lake Nakuru - waterfalls, acacia forest and a high-altitude lake sometimes dappled with pink flamingoes. Its forests hold giraffe, baboon and even leopard; the rhino sanctuary is a highlight not to miss.

Full Day at the Masai Mara
A day to game drive as much as you please - the area is rich with wildlife, from the big game down to hyena and jackal.
A picnic lunch down at the Mara River, crossing site of the Great Migration (July-October). Optional pre-dawn hot air balloon safari and Maasai village visit available today.

Masai Mara → Nairobi
Breakfast at your accommodation, then out of the park and back toward Nairobi, with time to enjoy the vistas along the route.
A lunch stop to soak up the scenery, arriving in the capital at about 4:30pm - lakes, mountains, woods and savannah, and all the wildlife they hold, behind you.
Everything handled, nothing hidden
