Amboseli National Park - Three Game Drives, Guaranteed Elephants
4:30am pickup from your hotel or place of choosing, heading down the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway as the sun rises over passing farms and homesteads, with Mt. Kilimanjaro's towering form guiding the way.
Game Drive 1: entering the park, great trains of elephant families parade before Kilimanjaro's backdrop. A breakfast stop follows at Ol Tukai Lodge.
Game Drive 2: mid-morning exploring the marshes and swamps - look for pelican, kingfisher, egret and raptors, with a walking break at Observation Hill for views over the park's plains and marshlands. Optional Maasai village visit available.
Game Drive 3: after a relaxing lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge, a final afternoon drive through the marsh areas for elephant sightings, with a chance the clouds may clear over Kilimanjaro's peak. Departure for Nairobi follows, arriving between 6:30-7:30pm.
Everything handled, nothing hidden
Nairobi hotel/residence pickup and drop-off, transport in a customized 4x4 pop-up-top Land Cruiser jeep, an experienced English-speaking driver-guide, Amboseli National Park entry permit, a breakfast stop, buffet lunch at Amboseli, bottled drinking water, government taxes, and Flying Doctors emergency evacuation cover.
Not included: bottled/soft drinks beyond water, items of a personal nature, and tips. Maasai village visit ($25pp) is an optional add-on.
